The election is a fundamental value of democracy which ensures the political participation of people. Political Participation could open up the door for securing various rights for persons with disabilities. To promote their electoral and political participation DHRPS do the monitoring of the access of persons with disabilities in the electoral process, advocates, and conducts awareness programs among persons with disabilities, their parents, and community people.
