Mr. Manish Prasai is a senior development professional with strong expertise in Disability-Inclusive Development (DID), Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), and systems-based programming. He has extensive experience supporting large-scale, multi-year development projects focused on the rights of persons with disabilities, inclusive education, livelihoods, governance, and community resilience.
He brings deep technical knowledge of project evaluation, theory of change, log-frame design, and OECD-DAC evaluation criteria, including relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, coherence, and sustainability. His experience includes leading and supporting mid-term and end-line evaluations, participatory assessments, and learning-oriented research for disability and social inclusion programs implemented in partnership with local governments, OPDs, and civil society organizations.
Mr. Prasai has strong command over twin-track approaches, combining disability mainstreaming with targeted interventions, and has worked extensively on capacity building of OPDs, community structures, and local governments. His expertise spans inclusive livelihoods, access to services, inclusive education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and strengthening accountability mechanisms.

At DHRPS, Mr. Prasai provides strategic guidance on program design, evaluation frameworks, evidence generation, donor compliance, and learning systems, supporting the organization to strengthen impact, accountability, and sustainability in child rights and deinstitutionalization programming.
Rita Shrestha
Strategic Advisor – Gender, Safeguarding & Inclusive Accountability
Ms. Rita Shrestha is a Strategic Advisor to the Disability Human Rights Promotion Society (DHRPS), bringing over twenty years of experience in development programming, institutional assessment, and social research. She holds an M.Sc. in Botany from Tribhuvan University and has pursued advanced studies in Social Science and Development Her professional work spans program design, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational strengthening across civil society initiatives.
A significant focus of Ms. Shrestha’s work has been disability inclusion and rights-based development. She has led final evaluations for disability organizations, conducted multi-district assessments on the situation of women with disabilities, and carried out research on violence against persons with disabilities. With additional expertise in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), good governance, and economic empowerment, she supports DHRPS in strengthening evidence-based advocacy, inclusive policy engagement, and strategic decision-making.
